News

    In August our group sponsored a trip to see the New Britain Rock Cats, a minor league baseball team. Although the Rock Cates lost the game everyone raved about the trip and we hope to do this again next year.

    We had a very successful hayride this past October, over 40 kids from 5th grade on up came and had a wonderful time.  

    In early November the Knights of Columbus and our youth group hosted Barry Kingston and his Christian Rock Band.  It met with great success as well and we hope to plan another for sometime in 2002.

    Also in early November we hosted the monthly parish breakfast after the 9:30 AM mass, we had a small crowd, but everyone who attended enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

     In December we hosted an after Religous Ed. Christmas Party for all the grades. Saturday the 15th we had a party for the first, second, and third graders. Our party for grades 7-10 was cancelled due to bad weather. The party for the Tuesday night CCD kids was very well attended by the students.

    In January we hosted the reception after the 3 Kings Pageant that the younger CCD children put on in church.
